A new name

I had decided on the perfect name for my little baby turtle. Tigger Timothy Tyler Simon James Alexandar III Gary Zack Allan Shawn-T Lipman. A perfect name for a perfect pet. But our familly just calls him Tigger for short. I love to give him kisses. :P

ITS A BOY!

Four years later, Little Anne grew very sick as well. I was scared for her life. So i brought her to the vet where they told me that she needed sunshine, more vitamins, i'd have to give her shots for a month or two, and SHE was a HE!!!
This is me giving HIM his medicine. I still hadn't decided on a new name....

Then I brought the little guy to the park. :) We had a wonderful time!

Day one...Love at first sight.

I had had two turtles from Chicago when i was ten years old. One boy, and one girl. The boys name was Huron, and the girl was named Lucy Locket. One day, Lucy grew very very sick. She developed soft shell and died three months after she was hatched. I was very depressed and had to bury her in my grandmothers backyard. Then, a month later, my father came home from a business trip to Chicago and brought me home a baby hatchling to replace the one i had lost. He told me it was a girl and being the fifth grader that i was, i named her Little Anne after the puppy in the book, Where The Red Fern Grows. This is a picture of my turtle the day I got it.
The hatchling was a runt and so instead of being the size of a quarter, it was only the size of a nickle. But, it was love at first sight. :)
